Allergy Tip of the Day: Grass Season

Pollen Forecast: Pollen levels will once again be on the rise as the atmosphere dries out and warms up. Expect high levels for both pine and oak as they approach the peak of their season. Grass levels are expected to be low with grass season just getting started. Weeds could be anywhere between low to moderate if winds are favorable to move the pollen around. Molds will remain low through the weekend.

Did You Know?: Grass season
Grass has started growing and folks have started mowing. If you have grass allergies keep these things in mind. Take a non-sedating antihistamine at least one hour before mowing the lawn. Wear a mask, long sleeves and pants while mowing, raking or weeding. Change clothing and shower immediately after finishing to remove pollen. Be sure the clothing is washed thoroughly before being worn again.
