Allergy Tip of the Day: Emergency Treatment
Pollen Forecast: One or two more days of dry weather will allow pollen levels to reach their moderate levels, with the exception of trees, they will remain low. Molds could repeat their moderate presentation for those areas that have had the afternoon rains.
Did You Know?: Emergency Treatment
Any time you suspect a severe allergic reaction seek immediate emergency care. Food is the most common associated trigger, followed closely by hymenoptera (bee/wasp) stings and medications. When available, self-injectable epinephrine should be immediately administered as an intramuscular (IM) dose to anyone with signs and symptoms suspicious of anaphylaxis before arrival to hospital.
