Allergy Tip of the Day: Rain and Allergies

Pollen Forecast: As expected, weeds and mold were high, but that wont be the case for today. The overcast, drizzly start to the morning will cleanse the air of pollen, reducing all levels. Friday and through the weekend, pollen will return to moderate or high levels. Molds will be moderate to high.

Did You Know?: Rain and Allergies
When it rains when grass and weed pollen is high, drops can hit the ground and break up clumps of pollen into smaller particles. They then quickly disperse, causing a sudden increase in allergy and allergic asthma symptoms during the rain shower. This tends to happen more during sudden, heavy downpours.
