Asthma and Allergy Research Center
Our Research Department conducts Phase 2, 3, and 4 studies which are required by the FDA in order to show the safety and effectiveness of new or changing allergy medications. We are involved with studies for some allergy medications which have already been approved by the FDA and are on the market, and we are also involved with cutting-edge medications not yet approved for prescription.
If you have, or a family member or friend has, COPD, asthma, allergies, or nasal polyps, and you are interested in finding out about Research studies, please call or email Department Head Liz Soltero, RN, BA at 719-473-8330 x6 / firstname.lastname@example.org. We have over twenty ongoing allergy testing studies in Colorado Springs, which are designed for a wide variety of age ranges.
About the Research Center
The Clinical Research Center at Asthma and Allergy Associates has been conducting pediatric and adult drug research for more than 36 years. The allergy testing center is located at our Colorado Springs office. Doctors Robert Nathan, Daniel Soteres, and Luke Webb are all actively involved in Research, have over 49 years of combined experience as Primary Investigators, and have participated in over 270 studies since 1980. Our site investigators are internationally- and locally-recognized as leaders in the field of asthma, COPD, and allergy research. They frequently present at local and national meetings and symposiums, and have authored peer-reviewed articles, editorials, and chapters.
Doctors Nathan, Soteres, and Webb are assisted by a Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant, and a staff of six experienced Clinical Research Coordinators dedicated to quality research work and allergy testing in Colorado Springs. Our Allergy Research facility is fully-equipped with patient examination rooms, computerized breathing test stations, an electrocardiogram machine, a laboratory for processing biological specimens, and a patient lounge with cable TV, WiFi, and comfortable seating.
